Permissions PostDaine's magical abilities are basically outlined
here. While this post doesn't address everything there, since some is unneeded, it still might be useful. Anyway, on to business.
Part of Daine's powers include being able to sense and mind-speak to animals as well as Immortals. In her canon, an Immortal is a being immune to aging and disease, and they live indefinitely unless killed by physical means, shooting, stabbing, etc. They also possess their own feeling in Daine's magical vision, and she can speak to them mentally only if they don't have a voice of their own. (
An example would be a centaur. Since they're able to vocalize their own thoughts, she couldn't connect with them. However, a griffin would be able to send its thoughts to her, lack of a human voicebox and all.)
She can also heal animals. And stuff.
What I want to know is, characters who are magical or somehow fit this description, would you like Daine to be able to sense you? Have a form where you can't speak? Would you be up for mind talk? Stuff like that.
Also, characters who are part animal, through DNA or magic or what have you, same questions. Is she allowed to sense something "different" in you? An example is Nudge from Maximum Ride. She's 2% bird. She does appear in Daine's magic, but she's blurry and hard to nail down. Our little Wildmage needs to concentrate to see her well.
And finally, Gods! Similar, but not quite the same. Do you want her to be able to sense you at all? While this isn't technically addresses in her canon, it could be something fun to play with. If not, we could always say you're too godly for her to try dealing with. ;D
